1. Who we are and what this covers
Veriad, Inc. operates Veriad. This notice covers personal information relating to website visitors, people who contact us, account holders, and users of our services. Personal information means information that identifies a person or can reasonably be linked to them.
We determine how information is used to manage our website, business relationships, billing, and service administration. When a customer supplies personal information for a campaign or other workspace activity and determines its purpose, we process it on that customer’s instructions under the applicable agreement. If your employer or another organisation controls that data, direct requests about it to that organisation; we can assist it in responding.
2. Information we receive
- Contact and account information: your name, work email, organisation, role, account identifiers, and details supplied in enquiries, demo bookings, support conversations, or onboarding.
- Workspace material: briefs, creative assets, brand guidance, reports, prompts, analysis results, and documents you upload. These may contain information about team members, creators, customers, or other individuals.
- Connected-service information: account identifiers, access credentials or tokens, and content or performance data made available by permissions you authorise. The data depends on the integration and features you use.
- Commercial records: orders, subscription details, billing contacts, invoices, and transaction information. Payment providers handle payment credentials when their checkout is used.
- Technical and activity information: browser and device details, IP-derived information, visited pages, referring pages, interactions, timestamps, and diagnostic events.
Information comes from you, your organisation, authorised integrations, and your interactions with the service. Please avoid supplying sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for your work.
3. Why we process information
We use information to set up accounts, deliver requested workflows, generate analyses and reports, answer enquiries, arrange demonstrations, manage subscriptions, investigate faults and misuse, and improve service usability. We also use business contact details to communicate about the service and relevant offerings, subject to applicable marketing rules and your choices.
Where UK or European data protection law applies, our grounds include performing a contract with you; legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving our business where your rights do not override those interests; complying with legal obligations; and consent where required. You can withdraw consent without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
4. Campaign content and AI processing
AI features send the material needed for a requested task to the model and infrastructure providers involved in that workflow. Depending on your request, this may include text, images, video, reference documents, or connected-service data. Your workspace can retain source material and generated results so your team can use them.
Veriad does not use your ads, brand guidelines, or campaign content to train AI models. Provider retention arrangements and the scope of a particular deployment can be discussed with us before onboarding. A model provider’s retention arrangement does not mean your Veriad workspace has no stored data.
6. Website analytics and booking services
Our website integrates PostHog for usage analytics and diagnostics, Vercel Web Analytics for website measurement, and Cal.com for demo scheduling. These services receive information associated with their functions. PostHog can use device storage and collect interaction information; Vercel Web Analytics uses a cookie-free measurement approach.
Read our Cookie Policy for storage details and browser controls. Provider information is available from PostHog, Vercel, and Cal.com. An external service you choose to visit has its own privacy terms.
7. Retention and deletion
Retention depends on the type of record, the purpose for holding it, your service agreement, and legal requirements. Workspace data is held to deliver the service and support your account. Billing, security, and dispute-related records may need to remain after an account closes.
Contact us to request deletion or clarify retention for your account, including backups. Disconnecting a third-party account revokes future access through that integration; request deletion separately for previously imported information. Where deletion is subject to a legal exception, we will explain the relevant restriction.
8. International processing
Veriad is a US company and works with providers and personnel in more than one country. Information may be processed outside your home jurisdiction. A UK-based team does not mean all data is hosted in the UK.
Where required for a restricted transfer, we use an applicable legal safeguard, such as an adequacy decision or approved contractual clauses with the necessary UK provisions. Ask us about locations and safeguards relevant to your account or procurement requirements.
9. Protecting information
Our approach includes access management, protecting service credentials, and reviewing the handling of customer information. See our Security Policy for responsibilities and reporting, and our security overview for assurance information. No online service can promise absolute protection against every threat.
10. Your rights and choices
Depending on your location and the applicable law, you may ask to access or obtain a copy of your personal information, correct it, delete it, restrict processing, object to certain uses, or receive portable information. Where applicable, this includes California rights to know, correct, delete, and opt out of sale or sharing, and rights concerning sensitive information. We will assess requests under the law that applies to you.
Email rohan@veriad.com with your request. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity or an agent’s authority. We will respond within applicable legal time limits, explain any exceptions, and will not discriminate against you for exercising a protected right.
You may unsubscribe from promotional emails or ask us to stop direct marketing. Essential account and service notices may still be sent. You can also complain to your local data protection authority, including the UK Information Commissioner’s Office or the relevant EEA supervisory authority.
11. Children and policy updates
Veriad is a business service intended for adults, not children under 18. If you believe a child has supplied personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and arrange appropriate deletion.
We update this notice as our services and practices change. The date above identifies the latest revision. Where required, we will bring material changes to your attention through an appropriate service notice or direct communication.
